- TETRES VER 3.01 : By Ian Leisk
-
- Help file.
-
- This is a game based on the ATARI arcade game TETRIS.
-
- The object of the game is to postion the shapes that fall into the pit,
- you must rotate them into a position which leaves no gaps in the layers at
- the bottom. Once aligned, you can drop them into place and increase your score.
-
- When a gap is closed a line disappears. When you make the total number of
- lines dissappear for each round, you then goto the next round.
-
- You can move the shapes left or right and rotate them at the same time.
- The shapes can be rotated while dropping them faster.

- CHANGES : 2.00
-
- High score data base that holds 16 high scores.
-
- You can enter your initials if your score is greater than one of the 16
- scores. TETRES will allow you to enter your initials when you exit or start
- a new game.
-
- There are now 3 rounds which use your 1st ,2nd ,and 3rd players initials.
-
- All rounds and the order that they go in are exactly the same as the arcade
- game.
-
- CHANGES : 2.01
-
- There was a bug in the high scores,if you didn't completly type in a 3 letter
- initial or type in a 3 letter initial and delete some characters, the program
- would somtimes leave garbage characters in the free parts of the initials.
- Then the program wouldn't except the highscore file from disk, because of the
- highscore error checker.

-
- Joystick option : Press J at the title menu if you want to use a joystick.
- Pressing the J key will toggle the joystick on or off during
- game play. The joystick must be turned off for using
- the keyboard to rotate, drop,or move left or right
- during the game.
- When joystick is on you can use it in difficulty select
- without having to press a key.
-
- CHANGES : 3.01
-
- Advancing lines : There was a bug in the advancing lines. The bug was that
- out of the 10 brick positions in each of the advancing
- lines the 10'th position was never used, just positions 1-9
- were only being used. This has now been corrected so
- that positions 1-10 will be used.
